Golden Boy

WELp. I'm not going to be able to finish everything I would have liked to draw for this event but, owell... RL came in the way T.T
glad to have finished this one at least ~ 

Story:

Asif had been everything but calm and collected for the time they spent at the show. Ssoo much attention, soo many people and horses - especially mares! (and... his mummy and daddy even T.T how uncool. even though he secretly loves them to bits but YKNOW teenagers.) How could he possibly focus on Riley's commands when there were SO many pretty ladies around?? Even though he was still such a young stallion, anyone could have told by a glance; he loved the spotlight, loved to show off.
When they were preparing for the halter show, the young Zlesdin could already tell something was going to happen. And got quite excited. He was lucky to call Riley his handler; he'd never miss a spot when grooming, too much of a hygiene fan (or OCD-victim) he was. Only after everything sat perfectly in place, they walked to the tree alley, waiting for their turn.
Asif couldn't await it anymore, prancing around impatiently. When was it his tuuurrn already? Riley grumbled to him to stay still and only rolled his eyes. What an attention whore pff.
A few minutes later, finally, their names were called and Asif could eventually read from Riley's body language that he had permission to walk. Like with almost every of Riley's horses, there was no line needed between them, body language was enough for him to tell his horses where to go and what to do whenever he spent time with them off their backs. Bonding with his horses was one of Riley's top priorities.
So, NOW the time came for Asif to shine. It felt like the asphalt under his hooves had been turned into a stage... Oh, he knew how pretty he was.
